Hot Surface Igniter

Hot-surface wire igniters for gas, fuel oil, and petrol heater boilers and gas cookers and wood-burning stoves and fires. Advantages include low cost, high ignition efficiency (guaranteed ignition in the first cycle) and long life. The device is CE certified. Testing is now underway at leading manufacturers in the UK, the USA and Europe.

The device operates on the principle of the rapid heating of an igniter element (within from 0.5 to 2 seconds, dependent upon the specific conditions of the application) up to a temperature suitable for igniting an air-gas mix.

The heating element is made from specially treated, industry standard materials with no complex electronics, significantly reducing production costs and increasing operating life compared with currently available hot surface igniters.

The device can be modified to operate at 1.5V, 5V, 9V, 12V, 24V, 36V, 48V, 120V, 230V or any other voltage to customer requirement.

The device is silent.
